Craig is a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor and Certified Alcohol and Drug Counselor. He earned his Masters Degree in Clinical Psychology from Wheaton College. His personal counseling style is short term and goal-oriented. He works primarily with adults in individual or couples counseling with a wide range of clients, including individuals with depression, anxiety, stress, spirituality issues, relationship issues, and addictions. The first session with Craig consists of an assessment to determine the background and reasons for seeking counseling. As much as possible, he will understand a client’s situation from their perspective, including what their personal goals are for counseling
Christine Burback LPC, NCC
Christine is a Licensed Professional Counselor and a Nationally Certified Counselor. She earned her Masters Degree in Community Counseling from Argosy University. Christine provides counseling services to a wide range of adolescent and adult clients, including individuals with depression, anxiety, PTSD, grief, life stage adjustments, parenting, and marriage issues. She also works with corporate groups for team building, mindfulness, and communication seminars. Christine uses a combination of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and Animal Assisted Therapies to help clients identify individualized solutions for a more fulfilled life.
Theresa Burback LCPC, CADC
Theresa is a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor and is a Certified Alcohol and Drug Counselor. She has worked on staff at both a hospital and a social service agency as a counselor and case manager where she provided counseling services and support to individuals with a variety of mental health concerns. She has extensive experience working with individuals, families and group therapy. Theresa uses a combination of cognitive behavioral therapy, acceptance and commitment therapy and dialectical behavior therapy to help her clients live a happier and more fulfilling life.
Marina Kostic LPC
Marina completed her Master's Degree in Clinical Psychology from Benedictine University. In the year prior to joining Quantum Counseling as a counselor, Marina was an intern here and worked extensively in the treatment of adolescents and adults, allowing her to seamlessly transition into her current role. Using an integrative approach to therapy that is custom to each client's needs, she provides a high-level of treatment to increase the success of therapy. She incorporates aspects of Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT) and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) into her therapeutic approach for both individual and group therapy. Her understanding of other cultures provides her with great insight in working with clients from diverse racial and ethnic backgrounds. Being a bilingual therapist, she hopes to provide her clients with a different perspective in dealing with various issues. Currently Marina's focus is working with adolescents and young adults.
Ken Maxey LCPC
Kenneth is Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor as well as a Certified Rehabilitation Counselor with a Masters Degree in Rehabilitation Counseling from the Illinois Institute of Technology, whose Rehabilitation Counseling graduate program ranked #13 in the country in 2015, according to U.S. News. He has worked on staff in a variety of settings both non-profit and for profit, including but not limited to psychiatric hospitals, social service agencies, etc. Kenneth works primarily with adults and couples, utilizing a varied style of therapy in an effort to meet each individual where they are and make their introduction to the therapeutic process as seamless as possible. He has extensive experience assisting persons with disabilities, both mental and physical live full and independent lives and accomplish their personal goals.
Tichiya Maxey LCSW
Tichiya completed her Bachelor’s degree in Psychology and later her Masters of Social Work (MSW) from the University of Illinois in Champaign-Urbana with a mental health focus. She attended Aurora University for her post-Masters school social work program and currently has a type 73 Professional Educator's License. Tichiya has assisted students of varying ages, cultures and economic backgrounds for over eight years serving in the capacity of school social worker. She also has experience as a child and adolescent individual and group therapist on an inpatient psychiatric unit through Streamwood Behavioral Health Systems at St. Mary’s of Nazareth, and as a mental health case manager and medical social worker with Edward Hines VA Hospital. She works with people of all ages and circumstances, however her areas of specialty are working with children and adolescents, individuals with mental illness, individuals facing mood disorders, depression, anxiety, grief, life transitions, and families that have children in special education or in need of school support. Tichiya utilizes a combination of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Motivational Interviewing, Crisis Intervention and Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT) to assist each individual with achieving their goals, for both therapy and beyond.
Heather Micheal LCSW, CADC
Heather has a clinical social work license (LCSW) and is also a certified alcohol and other drug counselor (CADC). She works with individuals, couples, families, and adolescents dealing with a variety of problem areas including depression, anxiety, substance abuse, and trauma. Her clients describe her personal style as kind, caring, insightful, thought-provoking, and as utilizing a sense of humor.
Heather's passion is working with people, and helping them cope with, adjust to, and overcome the difficulties life can bring. She can provide the emotional support and professional guidance that will help you move forward and grow.
In therapy, Heather offers a safe space in which her clients can experience trust, acceptance, and genuine positive regard. Her approach toward therapy is tailored to each client's individual needs. She may use dialectical behavioral therapy, acceptance and comittment therapy, cognitive behavioral therapy, relational therapy, or solution-focused therapy as we work together to find the best path for you toward reaching your goals.

Marie Quintana LCPC
Marie Quintana is a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor. She obtained her Masters in Counseling Psychology with a specialization in Child and Adolescent Counseling at Lewis University. Marie has several years of working in the private practice setting treating children, adolescents, young adults, and families. Using Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), Behavioral Therapy, and a little laughter, Marie helps her patients gain the tools to better manage and cope with any emotional/behavioral issues while empowering patients with knowledge and self-awareness about their struggles. Marie’s areas of experience are Anxiety Disorders, Depression, Mood Disorders, Autism Spectrum Disorder, ADHD, parenting concerns, school support (504/IEP planning), relationship issues, behavioral problems, and social skill building.

While her career has included a variety of positions, she enjoys working with individuals and families to help them address problems they face in their daily lives by using various treatment approaches, conflict resolution techniques, and behavior modification using Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and Motivational Interviewing. Theresa strives to help increase self-understanding, self-esteem, improve decision making, parenting and solve problems with the goals of reducing anxiety, depression and challenges associated with substance abuse, and attention deficit disorder, creating a happier more fulfilled life.
